New opening times for 2008!
The Newark Fair will be open even earlier in the New Year!
In 2008, the Newark International Antiques & Collectors Fair will be open from 9.00am on Thursdays! This will allow extra buying time and will give buyers an extra hour of daylight in the winter months.
A Special Winter Rate for Newark
In 2008, dmg Antique Fairs will be offering a reduced rate to trade buyers during the colder months.
Entry will be just £10 as standard for buyers attending on Thursday at the February and December 2008 fairs.
The Fair:
Europe's largest antiques event takes place in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Stallholders and buyers from around the globe come to the Newark & Nottinghamshire Showground every other month to take part in this internationally renowned trading event.
With up to 4,000 stalls the fair holds quite possibly everything you could imagine from furniture, rugs, paintings and textiles, to sports memorabilia, toys, grandfather clocks and antique maps.
The Newark fair has to be experienced to be believed. It's a treasure trove of possibilities for your interiors. Here you'll find everything you could possibly need to decorate and stylise your home.

Accompanied under-16's are admitted free. Discounts are available for group bookings.
When you arrive at the fair If you require assistance getting around our 84 acre site
we have electric mobility scooters available for hire.
Event Mobility, is a charitable trust, providing powered wheelchairs and electric scooters for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the Newark Fair. The charity requests a donation of £15 for the use of an electric scooter and £10 for a manual wheelchair for the day. Book now online at www.eventmobility.org.uk.

Directions:
By Road: The Newark & Nottinghamshire Showground is adjacent to the
A1, only 2 hours from London.
By Rail: East Coast Mainline Train stops at Newark Northgate station only
10 minutes form the fair. Travel by train from London in 90 minutes.
By Air: One hour from Nottingham East Midlands Airport.

For your convenience a courtesy coach runs from Newark Northgate Station throughout the duration of the fair.
