Newark
The Newark International Antiques & Collectors fair, which takes place every two months at the Newark and Nottinghamshire Showground, attracts buyers and stallholders from around the world.
With up to 2,500 stallholders the fair is the largest in Europe and has to be experienced to be believed. Besides the hundreds of outside pitchers there are 10 buildings, 150 shopping arcades and over 30 private marquees so you can be sure of finding a wealth of quality antiques all year round.
Ardingly
The Ardingly fair hosts up to 1,700 stallholders and offers everything from fine furniture to ceramics, glassware and textiles. It has developed a reputation as a place to find European decorative items and is a firm favourite with interior designers.
The convenient location of the South of England Showground (only one hour from London) helps give the fair a very cosmopolitan atmosphere and the combination of indoor and outdoor stalls throughout the year make this a vibrant and exciting fair.
Shepton Mallet
Shepton Mallet Antiques Fair, which takes place at the Bath and West Showground in Somerset, is renowned as a source for quality antiques and decorative items. The fair is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday and also opens to the trade on Friday afternoon, when it attracts many of London’s top dealers and interior designers.
Up to 500 stallholders occupy four permanent buildings and 30 shopping arcades. In September the fair is even bigger, with the annual addition of hundreds of outside pitches.
Newbury
Held five times at year at the Kent County Showground near Maidstone, this popular fair offers up to 400 indoor and outdoor stalls. It’s proximity to the Channel Tunnel means that more and more continental dealers are exhibiting at the fair, so you can be sure to find an interesting range of items on sale.
Shop at your leisure at this popular weekend fair and enjoy a fantastic choice of quality antiques and quirky finds.
Swinderby
Preceeding the famous Newark International Antiques & Collectors Fair, Swinderby offers dealers a unique opportunity to buy from hundreds of stands, both outside and under cover.
